The 2-hectare (5 acres) property has 200 yards beach frontage and features a beautiful tropical garden with lotus and fish ponds, a 10 x 20 meter swimming pool, a unique 3m x 4m sauna with walls of one-way mirrored glass offering a full view of the garden, the ocean, and Bali's famous sunsets from a position of complete privacy. There's a private tennis court, an archery range, and two airy gazebos next to the beach. The furnishings and decor gracefully blend Chinese and Mediterranean antiques with fine traditional Balinese teak and rattan. Whether sipping cocktails while enjoying a romantic sunset at one of the secluded garden gazebos, lounging on the teak poolside deck, viewing the beautiful grounds from one of the many terraces and balconies or simply walking on your own private beach, you will feel as if Villa Gajah Putih is your home in Bali. The huge master suite has a custom-made teak wood bed of 2 x 2.4 meters and a large walk-in dressing wardrobe; three of the four spacious guest suites have two queen-size beds each. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, offer sweeping views of the grounds, and feature huge en-suite marble bathrooms with two sinks, family-size sunken bath tubs, and double-showers. The two recently added guest suites in an adjacent new wing feature also spacious dressing areas connecting bedroom and bathroom. The direct telephone lines can be accessed from each bedroom. Precious marble, tropical hardwoods and the finest fixtures have been incorporated into the graceful designs of the five bathrooms in the suites. They include pleasing garden views and oversized marble bathtubs with twin shower sprays. A unique sauna bath (located at the pool cabana) measuring 10' x 15' has three walls of special mirrored glass allowing a stunning view of both garden and sea while maintaining complete privacy. The modern, fully equipped kitchen is separated from the main house and supervised by an Italian-trained Chef. A wide range of regional and international cuisine is available at Villa Gajah Putih. Daily menus are planned by the gourmet chef based on the tastes of our guests. The chef, kitchen & service staff are included with the villa rental; Elegant and delicious family style meal plans are available at very reasonable rates. Our own organic garden provides many of the fresh vegetables used. The whole property is serviced by 24 well-trained full-time staff including an Italian manager, gourmet cooks, room maids, laundress, gardeners, 24-hour guards, etc. Many of the key staff live in separate staff quarters on the property.
