Villa Cemara captures the very essence of Bali Style – beachfront, luxury living, tropical open-air Architecture and personalized 5-star service.
Designed by acclaimed Balinese architect Popo Danes, Villa Cemara incorporates traditional Balinese styling with modern living convenience for up to eight guests. The villa compound is spread along 60 metres of Sanur’s beachfront.
Villa Cemara takes it’s name from the Cemara tree that shades the southern side of the villa compound and the neighbouring Cemara temple. The villa adopts traditional Balinese compound styling with four individual buildings each dedicated to a specific purpose: The Villa Suites, the pavilion and the Staff quarters. The buildings are set amongst tropical landscaped gardens, coconut trees, illuminated water features and the entire complex enjoys stunning panoramic views of the Lombok straight and neighbouring islands.
The heart of Villa Cemara is the living and dining pavilion which, under a traditional thatched roof, serves as the focus of daily life. Spend your time here lounging on the day bed, reading, gazing out to sea or feasting on local delicacies with friends. Then plunge into the emerald swimming pool and laze away the day on the shaded sun deck.
Each of the four Villa Suites incorporates the finest in local interior design with superb modern amenities, offering you an unparalleled holiday environment. Experience the hand--made Balinese furnishings, original artworks and beautiful imported fixtures as you relax and prepare for the day ahead. Then bathe amongst scented tropical flowers or shower under the stars as you encounter the open-air bathrooms of Villa Cemara. Back to previous page
