We chose to use Katrina and her amazing team at Bali Weddings International as we heard they were the best in the business. Even knowing this we were still surprised at how great our wedding was, how smoothly it ran and how down to earth and caring Katrina and the girls were.

Needless to say our wedding was simply amazing and all thanks to BWI. All our friends and family have told us how impressed they were with Katrina and her team and we agree, they truly turned our special day into our own fairy tale wedding.

One of the most common comments we have received from guest is that it looked like it was from a movie!

Katrina not only replied to every single email straight away (and there were a lot) but by the time the wedding rolled around we no longer thought of Katrina as our wedding planner instead it was as if she was a friend we had known for years.

I've already missed our emails!!!!

You might not like to hear it, but I'm still 11 days away from even returning to Australia! Currently in Thailand!! Living the dream!!

Hope you are both well. Well, Tim and I are back to the ‘real world’ of work and everyday life. Trying to savour all of the memories of the wedding and our time in Bali.

We had the most amazing time and so did our guests. We have been told (and agree ourselves) that it is the best wedding so far amongst friends and family. You both did such a great job in all of the planning, execution and making us feel at ease on the day.

I am missing our almost daily emails ha ha. Weird to have so much more time on my hands now that the planning is over! I am glad you got the card, I thought it was more personal than a thankyou email.

Sadly I am back here in Sydney after the most amazing holiday and wedding.  Just wanted to pass on our thanks for organising everything, let me know if you have a specific feedback form you want filled out.  Also I have some hair shots for Anja – she wanted some photos for her website – let me know her contact details.  She did such an amazing job, even with Beth last minute deciding to have her makeup done, she still got us all done on time.  Monique also was great and both so calm.
 
The photos are stunning – I’m really happy with them, if you have contact details please send them on so I can thank Aditi for his amazing work.  Also the quick turn around to have the album sent to us in Ubud is nothing short of a miracle.  I was almost in tears when I saw the album – they captured the day perfectly. 
 
Batu Karang was certainly a very good choice – I will email Troy and Kadek separately to thank them for all their efforts.  I loved the warm, casual interaction we had with them throughout our stay.  I’ve had so many of our guests congratulating me on such an amazing wedding.  The Balinese Blessing combined with the Commitment Ceremony worked so well, the atmosphere was so beautiful.
 
Now that I’m sitting here thinking about it, I can only say It all happened  incredibly quickly and I wish we could do it all over again!!

Well we are back to work and back to reality. I don't think you are ever quite prepared for how quickly the day goes after so much planning!  We had the best day though and really want to thank you for all of your help on the day and also all your help prior to the day as well. We will be recommending you for sure.

We would like to say a big thank you to you and Bali Weddings International for making our Bali Wedding stress free, low key and really relaxing, it is what we hoped to achieve by having a Bali Wedding and we could not have possibly had a better day without your help.

Villa Asta was the perfect location; private, beautiful gardens and very friendly helpful staff.

I thought after working in Events myself that I would be able to organise most things myself but I am so happy that I let somebody else do all that for me so I could just enjoy the day.  I can't thank you enough for your patience with my countless emails, assisting us with the best of everything (driver, make up artist, florist, caterers, photograhers & decorations) but most of all your genuine warmth and kindness that you showed to us and our families.  You are a lovely person and it was so nice having you there on the day.

It rained really late that night and we finished the day by jumping into the pool, me in my Wedding Dress!

I cant believe we are back in Dubai and the whole wedding dream is over.  God it went SOOOOOO quickly.

The  venue and reception were more than I could have asked for. ALL staff at  Kupu Kupu Barong were fantastic and they really made huge efforts to make us feel special. Before I forget could you give me Ketut's email address.  I would like to write a personal email to her as well, to thank her. She was so wonderful and really made sure everything went smoothly. Our day was more than we could have imagined, so thank you for that too!

I truly had to do nothing on the day and didn't even feel I needed to check
anything, so that was really great- I was able to really relax and enjoy the day.

Our cake was gorgeous, I loved it and it tasted pretty damn good too!

The photos turned out amazing- we are really happy with them.

The food and reception were fantastic- it just looked so beautiful.

Well as you can see we were happy with absolutely everything and we had the best day of our lives.

Thanks for all your help the past year and helping us to have such a fantastic day. We can't wait to get to Bali soon - we definately plan on staying at Kupu Kupu again!

"Thank you for making our wedding day absolutely perfect !  From organising the wedding from Australia, it was a relief to know that Katrina took care of everything.  We really enjoyed meeting with you in Bali, and discussing the finer details for our special day.  On the day, the wedding decorations and set up were amazing and my frangapani bouquet was divine.  The minister was extremely personable and his english was perfect. We loved the ceremony books and the wording that you suggested for the ceremony. 

The photographer was excellent - we have lots of beautiful photographs of our day, and the videographer really captured the moment so our friends and family back in Australia felt part of it.

Getting married at the Samaya Villa's was perfect - the location looking out to the ocean was unbeatable, and then to walk down on to the beach for our sunset photos was great.  The staff at the Samaya couldn't have been more accommodating, and I could not recommend the Samaya Villa's more highly.

Now we're back in Belgium, we'd like to take the time to say a BIG thank you once again for making our wedding day the most beautiful day we could ever dream of. After your first e-mail we already knew what a professional organisation BWI is. We had many questions, but got answers to all of them (Even if that meant that you had to go to the location itself to see if we could make a telephone connection during our wedding).
 
The pre-wedding meeting in your office in Sanur was so organised, afterwards we knew for certain that you had everything under control and that we didn't have to worry about a thing. Thanks again for recommending the local photographer. He did a marvelous job! When people see them, we always get the same reaction: WOW!  When you said the location would be spectacular, it wasn't a lie! It was a 100 times better than we hoped for. The views, the decorations, the musicians, the bridal maids and the reception were fantastic!

We would like to recommend the spectacular clifftop to all your future clients.  We've attached a few pictures of our wedding at the spectacular clifftop in Uluwatuh.
 
We hope to see you again somewhere in the future, because we fell in love with Bali.

Sorry its taken me so long to write this email to you things have been rather manic since our feet hit UK turf again!!

We would just like to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for organising our day for us, we still can't get over how fantastic it was!  I know that we did harangue you with request after request over minute details but to say we couldn't have wished for a better day is an understatement. 

The Istana is the most magical and dreamlike setting anyone could ever wish to get married, coupled with the fantastic staff they had made it extra special.  We were like small children when we arrived and had the most fun over two days imaginable!  I think the best quote of the day was "I feel like I have just been in a Hello! magazine shoot" and that's exactly like it felt.

The Kori Restaurant that you recommended to us provided the most amazing meal and the staff who set it up and also the staff that served us could not be faulted and were always so courteous to our guests.

But, to you especially BWI, thank you!  Thank you for answering every email and calming me down, thank you for organising it and thank you for being there on the day to make sure we all knew which way was up and what we were supposed to be doing, the minister was fantastic, the flowers amazing and the day will never be forgotten.

Would you please pass our thanks onto Gary & Irene at the Kori Restaurant and also to Neil (Dian) and his staff at the Istana for everything that they did for us.

We wanted to send a formal note through to the Bali Weddings International team thanking you for the most memorable and unbelievable week of our lives, our wedding week in Bali.
There were times when we were sitting in New York and planning, with your help, our events from afar and worrying whether our decisions regarding venues, wine, music and so on, were appropriate.
Upon arriving in Bali and meeting you and your team our minds were put to rest somewhat. Then with each new day, as the carefully planned events unfolded, we were constantly relieved and then thrilled with the outcome and reactions of our guests. Every recommendation you made, from staying at The Pavilions in Sanur, through our week long events to the culmination of our wedding ceremony at the wonderful Maya in Ubud, were brilliant and hit the note we were trying to achieve for ourselves, and our 60 guests. Speakezy’s bar and Restaurant hosted a great welcome dinner for our guests and us, and proved a perfect casual party venue for a group that size. The Hen’s Day at the Puri Esthetic spa was a slice of pure luxury and pampering and was enjoyed by the 30 women who attended. 20 golfers tee’d up at the boys Bucks Day, at the Grand Bali Beach Hotel golf course, which was another resounding success.
We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone that helped us at each venue. The Maya was, in a nutshell, spectacular. Otto King and Ismullah tended to our every need, always without trouble and with impeccable professionalism and style. All of our guests were impressed with our choice and the food and wine of equal note and were of true international standard. The Gamelan and dancers captured the Balinese mood and set the scene for a casual yet stylish evening and feature prominently in our cherished memory.
For us, we truly could not have been more thrilled with the whole event and it surpassed any of our dreams for our wedding week. To have spent the week, laughing, catching up with friends and family, taking in the sights of Bali and not having to worry about any wedding details is a testament to your professionalism and organisational abilities.

We really couldn't have hoped for more... the venue was idyllic, the meals were delicious, the photographer was very talented and the flowers were beautiful and vibrant. We had an absolutely amazing day and you made the whole thing completely stress-free. I will certainly be recommending BWI to anyone who is thinking of getting married in Bali. Thanks!

We thought we would let you know how much we enjoyed our wedding day (Banyan Estate Villa). We thought you did an excellent job in organising the wedding, the day went without a hitch! The video of the wedding was also excellent, our family and friends thought it was brilliant.
